BSM Announces Open House Schedule

The Benilde-St. Margaret's Admissions team is pleased to announce the schedule of Open House events for prospective families interested in providing their son or daughter with a BSM education during the 2024-25 school year.

“Our open houses offer a comprehensive look into the vibrant senior high community for families who may be just beginning their high school search process,” said Betsy Van Cleve '06, director of senior high admissions. She also noted, "Our senior high faculty and administrative members will share insight into our holistic school experience, and guests will hear from our current BSM students offering a glimpse into their lives as Red Knights.”

Open House events at BSM include a tour of classrooms and learning settings, meeting with faculty, staff, and current students, and an opportunity to ask questions of the BSM admissions team.

The full schedule of Open House events includes:

• Monday, October 9, 2023: 6 - 8 p.m.
• Thursday, November 9, 2023: 9 - 11 a.m.
• Thursday, January 4, 2024: 6 - 8 p.m.
• Thursday, February 8, 2024: 9 - 11 a.m.
• Thursday, April 4, 2024: 9 - 11 a.m.
• Thursday, May 9, 2024: 9 - 11 a.m. 

“For many families, coming to BSM in 7th grade is the beginning of their 6-year Red Knight experience,” said Ted Freese, director of junior high admissions, adding, “By attending our Open House event, parents can see firsthand how students will be well prepared for success, not only in the junior high, but in high school, college and beyond.”

Enrollment at BSM has been in high demand in recent years, and interested families are encouraged to attend an Open House with enough time to complete an admissions application before the Friday, January 5, 2024, priority application deadline. For families unable to attend the Open House on Monday, October 9, 2023, private family tours and day visits are available with the BSM admissions team.

“BSM is excited to welcome families onto our campus to learn about our strong academic programs and the over 70+ sports teams and activities students take advantage of throughout the year,” said Freese, explaining, “As Red Knights, our students are supportive and considerate with everyone wherever they go. It's a tradition at BSM to do your best while seeing others with respect and understanding.”
