The Knightettes are headed to to the 2026 MSHSL State Dance tournament!

After a season of hard work and dedication, the dance team was able to place first in Jazz and second in High Kick at Sections, earning a spot at State for both dances. At State, they will showcase their talents to a broad audience, showing what they have been working towards throughout this whole season.

After earning first place in Jazz and second in High Kick at the 2025 State tournament, the team knows the only place left to go is up. After tough practices and meets throughout the season, they have built strong trust in each other to fulfill the needs for the dance. Their hopes to defend their State title in Jazz and work their way up to another in High Kick.

The Knightettes placed 1st in Jazz and 2nd in High Kick at Sections.

Captain Kali Kosek ‘26 stated, “We faced challenges that tested us, but instead of letting them pull us apart, they brought us closer together. We learned how to lean on each other, trust one another, and show up even on the hard days.”

The Knightettes are looking forward to experiencing the tournament together as a team, filling the weekend with laughter, support, and lots of team bonding activities.

The BSM Dance team will compete in Jazz on Friday, Feb. 13 and High Kick on Saturday, Feb. 14 at Target Center. Spectator and ticketing information can be found on the MSHSL website.

Best of luck to our Knightettes!
