Congratulations to our Red Knight swimmers who qualified for the 2023 Minnesota High School League (MSHSL) Girls Swimming & Diving State Tournament!
The girls’ swim and dive team made a splash at the Section 2A meet on November 8-10 finishing in third place with BSM student-athletes qualifying for State in their respective events:
- Diving - Bailey Monette ‘27 (Champion)
- 200 Free - Emma Rudowsky ‘26 (Champion)
- 100 Free - Siri Gudmundson ‘25 (2nd Place)
- 500 Free / Emma Rudowsky ‘26 (Champion) & Harriet White ‘25 (2nd Place)
“The girls have worked hard day in and day out, and I'm excited to see their hard work pay off in the pool and on the board,” said head coach Ryan Miksch. “We're going to have some great performances, and it's going to be fun to watch.”
The 2023 MSHSL Girls Swim & Dive State Tournament will be held Nov. 16-18 at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota. Class A diving preliminaries start at noon on Thursday, November 16, and swimming preliminaries begin at noon on Friday, November 17. Class A swimming & diving finals will begin at noon on Saturday, November 18.
Tickets and more information about the tournament can be found on the MSHSL website. Regular updates will be provided on this announcement as the tournament progresses.
