Congratulations to Emma Rudowsky '26 for her incredible win at the MSHSL Class A Girls' Swim and Dive State Tournament!
On Saturday, Nov. 15, Rudowsky placed first in the 500 Free with a time of 5:00:84. This win is Rudowsky's first state title.
"This win means a lot to me because it was my very last race wearing the Red Knight cap," shared Rudowsky. "It was a really fitting and full circle moment to end my BSM swimming career going from JV in 7th grade to State Champion in my senior year."
Just days before the State tournament began, Rudowsky signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and swimming career at Boston University. Though the season is over and she's moving to a NCAA Division I team, Rudowsky says she'll never forget her time as a Red Knight.
"Every single girl on the team has a really special place in my heart and I'm really lucky I get to call them my friends," she said. "I would like to thank my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for always being there for me and helping me be the athlete I am today. My parents sacrifice so much for me to be able to chase my goals and I am really thankful for their support and love. I especially want to thank my little sister, Anna, who is in 7th grade at BSM because she is my loudest cheerleader."
