Congratulations Class of 2019 Valedictorians & Salutatorian

A huge congratulations to this year's class of 2019 valedictorians and salutatorian!

This year’s graduating class includes seven valedictorians including Sara Ben, Estelle Beutz, Sally Calengor, Sydney Johnson, Grace Knoer, Madeline Marusich and Walker Mullin.

The graduating class also has named one student as a salutatorian, Sarah Kinney.

What an amazing accomplishment for these Red Knights! #BSMProud.

Red Knights Pack 50,000 Meals for Undernourished Children During FMSC

As part of a service-learning project, BSM 7th graders participated in Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) on April 26. That same evening, the BSM girls’ and boys’ golf teams also volunteered their time to help hand pack meals for children in need. In total, Red Knights packed 251 boxes which is more than 50k meals that will feed 149 kids for a year in Haiti.

Prom 2019 Tickets Now Available

Prom 2019, “MidKnight in Paris,” is right around the corner set for Saturday, April 27 at the Profile Event Center (near the University of Minnesota east campus).

Junior and senior Red Knights will or should have received an email containing a link to purchase tickets, select meal choices and guest forms. Once tickets have been purchased, students will receive a second email with a link to sign up for tables. Remember this is a bill to tuition event, and the cost of $50/person will appear on your next tuition bill.

Senior Molly Segner Places Second in Nation at Miss Dance Team USA Competition

BSM senior Molly Segner was honored to represent the BSM Knightettes while participating in the Miss Dance Team USA National Competition, where she placed second in the nation in the solo division. Molly’s successful performance at the regional competition in October qualified her for the national competition with Team Minnesota, which took place in California from March 21-23.

Congratulations to junior, Ronan Brew on earning the National Speech & Debate Association’s Academic All-American award! This award recognizes academic rigor, competitive speech and debate success, and personal excellence.

This distinguished award is given to students who earned the degree of Superior Distinction in the association’s Honor Society, achieved rigorous criteria for GPA and/or test score requirements, and have demonstrated outstanding character and leadership.

Red Knights Place in Top 10 after Strong Showing at BPA State Competition

Congratulations to the seven Red Knights who placed in the top ten at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) state competition Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9! BSM had a total of 21 students attend the competition, an extraordinary number, in comparison with last year’s attendance of eleven students.
