Annually, schools define goals for the year ahead that are linked to a longer-term strategic plan. These goals generally influence resource allocation, professional learning, policies, procedures and many other school functions all designed to create a more meaningful experience for students, families and alumni.
Every day is a great day to be a Red Knight! During homecoming week, however, being a Red Knight means a little bit more. The traditions of homecoming week remain ostensibly unchanged with coronation and boys volleyball on Monday, Power Puff football on Wednesday, the pep fest and the homecoming football game on Friday, and closing the week's festivities with the dance on Saturday.
English Teacher Maura Brew Receives the 2017 CTAM Award
English teacher Maura Brew received an award at the annual CTAM (Communication and Theater Association of Minnesota) conference in St. Cloud Friday, September 15. The Outstanding Individual in Communication and Theater Award is designed to recognize individuals who have made truly significant contributions to communication and/or theater education in the state of Minnesota.
What better way to start my senior year than joining a sport I have missed since 6th grade? In honor of my senior year, I decided to pick football back up and give it one more go to play competitively. As defending state champion, this year, the team has come up with the motto - “Run It Back!” In addition to the team, the entire school could adopt this phrase. With all the successes last year in such a wide range of disciplines, everyone could be striving to #RunItBack.
A blast of students descended upon the campus of Benilde-St. Margaret’s in mid-August for the start of fall athletic seasons. Red Knight Roundup brought scores of students and families to campus to ready for the 2017-2018 school year. The most recent orientation events for students and parents meant that a new year was here. But, what does that really mean?
