Video: Christmas Carpool Karaoke with BSM

We’re in the Christmas spirit at Benilde-St. Margaret’s! To celebrate the season, students, faculty and staff have produced a short Christmas Carpool Karaoke video (2:19) to the tune, “Jingle Bells." We hope the video brings extra joy this Advent and Christmas as we wait for the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. From our classrooms and our cars, Merry Christmas and God Bless from Benilde-St. Margaret's!

BSM Blog: My BSM Journey - Why I’ve Never Looked Back.

As I walk the halls of BSM with prospective families, I can’t help but be reminded of my own journey to BSM. It started back when I was in junior high. I grew up in Minnetonka and was attending public school. New neighbors moved in next door and I quickly became fast friends with the Hickey family and future BSM alums Bill (’77), Bob (’80) and Tom (’83).

BSM Blog: Christmas and The Gift of Faith

Best Christmas, worst Christmas, all at once. It was December 25, 2009. Our two daughters, age 19 and 21 were home from college for Christmas, and we were enjoying our long-standing family tradition of opening presents that were left by Santa Claus. My husband’s father, Norman Skinner was 85 and had been battling cancer for a while, fighting hard but slowly losing ground each day.

This summer has been even more active with the number of participants in summer programming along with a significant construction project.

New Classrooms, New Discoveries

New Classrooms, New Discoveries

In between blizzards this past spring, there was a hint of activity in the rock courtyard east of room 107, the biology room. The occasional sound of hammers and reciprocating saws has gotten the science department excited! This summer will see the culmination of several years of dreaming, exploration, conversation and capital campaigning all centered around new science facilities.
