In June of each year, final exams and graduation ceremonies mark the end of the academic program and co-curricular activities. The halls are less traveled but in reality, a flurry of activity still takes place in the weeks between the end and the new beginning. This summer has been even more active with the number of participants in summer programming along with a significant construction project.

New Members Join BSM Board of Directors

BSM is adding six new members to the Board of Directors. These new members will officially begin their three-year term on July 1, 2018.

Maureen Grazzini
Maureen is a 1986 graduate of BSM and previously served on the Nominating Committee as well as held the position of Chair of the Parent Association. She earned her degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently an instructor at Foss Swim School. Maureen and her husband Greg have two children, Claire, class of ‘18, and Adam class of ‘15.  The family resides in Chanhassen.

In between blizzards this past spring, there was a hint of activity in the rock courtyard east of room 107, the biology room. The occasional sound of hammers and reciprocating saws has gotten the science department excited! This summer will see the culmination of several years of dreaming, exploration, conversation and capital campaigning all centered around new science facilities.

Benilde-St. Margaret’s has helped me thrive as an individual, guiding me throughout my high school career with passion and professionalism. It provided me with opportunities that helped me stand out from other college applicants. As a valedictorian for the Class of 2018, I can say that BSM’s academic and sports programs are exceptional and have shaped me during my time here.
