Offering weekly BSM summer camps for students of all interests entering grades 3-8. Explore creative arts and hands-on STEM to academic enrichment and a wide variety of weekly sports camps in a fun, supportive environment.
Choose from Digital Storytelling, Drama, Ceramics, 3D Printing, Drone Making, Escape Room, Band Lessons, and a wide range of athletics-- including basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, tennis, wrestling, cheer, cross country, and much more.
Weekly camps begin the week of June 8. Spots fill quickly. Choose your weeks early.

Activity & Academic Camps

BSM Band Lessons
- Ages: Students entering grades 5-8
- Dates: The instructor will schedule individual lessons directly with each family
- Time: Five (5) – 30 minute lessons
- Cost: $125
Are you looking for a reason to pick up your instrument over the summer? Have you always wanted to learn a new instrument? If so, you are in luck. The BSM band department is offering band lessons throughout the summer for students looking to further their musical skills at a level tailored to each student’s ability. Students will receive five (5) 30-minute lessons to be scheduled throughout the summer based on family/teacher availability. Any further questions can be directed to Band Director, Josey Gruba.

BSM Orchestra Lessons
Ages: Students entering grades 5-12

For the beginner and experienced string players, the BSM orchestra department is offering string lessons throughout the summer for students looking to further their musical skills at a level tailored to each student’s ability. Drama/Theater Camp

Join the BSM drama department this summer for drama camp. Students will work with professional choreographers and directors, along with current BSM students, as they learn songs and scenes from Disney’s Newsies. Students learn and rehearse scenes from the musical Monday, June 8th through Thursday, June 11 with a showcase performance at the end of the morning on Thursday.

Parlez-vous francais? Do you want to learn some French and sample some delicious French food like crepes, baguette, le fromage, croissants, et marcarons? Then this camp is for you! You will get an introduction to the French language through conversation, culture, songs and games. No prior knowledge of French is necessary. Topics include: greetings, numbers, colors, clothing, parts of the body, Cafe’ vocabulary, the French-speaking world, Paris Monuments and French trivia. A bientot! See you soon! Pickleball Camp

Get some exercise and have some fun with the fastest growing sport in the U.S. Come learn the techniques for serving, dink shots, drive shots and lobs. Learn the terminology, rules and scoring system and strategy. And why do they call it “Pickleball” anyway? We will have the paddles, balls and nets to use. Feel free to bring your own paddle if preferred.

Welcome to BSM Summer Baseball Camp! At the BSM Baseball Camp you can expect a high energy, fast-paces, learning based program that challenges your athletes while making sure they learn and have fun! During camp we will focus on fundamentals in every aspect of the game, create a competitive experience with game play and development drill competitions and educate athletes on the values and standards of the BSM program, as well as the standards it takes to compete at a high level in the game of baseball.

Building Champions – camp will consist of mastering the skills needed to play like a champion. Ball handling, passing, finishing, defense and shooting. Our camp will teach these skills with competitive drills and games. Players should be dressed in basketball attire and camp will provide basketballs. The Red Knight Youth Football passing camp is a non-contact camp focusing on passing and receiving skills. This camp is open to all football players and is not limited to skill players. Anyone interested in learning the skills of passing or receiving are encouraged to come and enjoy this camp. The emphasis will be on fun and learning. Parents are welcome to stay and watch!

The Red Knight football passing league camp is a non-contact camp focusing on passing, receiving, and coverage skills. This camp is open to all football players and is not limited to skill players. Passing and receiving skills as well as Red Knight basic pass patterns and defensive coverage techniques will be taught. Players will also compete in 7 on 7 games.

Girls’ Lacrosse Camp

Join us for a fun and exciting girls’ lacrosse camp designed to help players improve their game and have fun while doing so! Led by Head Coach Sydnie Soto, former Division I Women’s lacrosse player at University of Oregon, along with a talented staff of BSM lacrosse coaches and players!
Throughout the camp, athletes will work through drills that shapen stick skills, improve lacrosse IQ and improve overall athleticism. From footwork and fundamentals to competitive small-sided games, every session will be built to challenge players, build confidence and grow their love for the sport!

Swimming Camp

With some of its best performances in varsity history, the Red Knights swim and dive program is excited to develop the next generation of swimmers at our summer camp. Our sessions are focused primarily on building the right technique for swimming across all strokes, introducing turn & dive skills and developing awareness and experience in how swim practices and meets run.
Swimmers – grade 4 and older – should be able to swim across the pool with front crawl and have some basic understanding of the other competitive strokes. Towels, swimsuits and googles are required. Other equipment will be available onsite for learning purposes.

BSM’s summer tennis camp is designed to improve your tennis game regardless of your level of experience. We promise an action-packed week of drills, games and matchplay that will continue to inspire a lifelong love of tennis and fitness.
What the camp involves – our professionally designed curriculum caters to players of all skill levels, from beginners grabbing their first racquet to advanced juniors looking for a competitive edge. Each day is a dynamic mix of:
- dynamic drills – focused fed and live ball practice on all major strokes
- footwork & agility training – high-intensity exercises to improve speed, balance and court coverage
- strategy sessions – court positioning, point construction andmetnal toughness to outsmart opponents
- team competitions & match play – fun, supervised tournaments, round-robin play and team-based games to put new skills into action
What to bring – to ensure a safe and successful camp, please make sure your child brings the following essential gear:
- tennis racket
- tennis shoes (non-marking) – crucial for safety and traction on the court. NO RUNNING SHOES
- water bottle – water fountains are available at Aquila Park, but it’s best to have a bottle to fill up to bring to with you to court

These camps are for aspiring or beginner-level boys and girls volleyball players entering 3rd through 8th grade. We will focus on learning the fundamentals needed to be successful in volleyball, like passing, serving, setting, and attacking. We’ll do this with fast-paced drills that allow for plenty of reps for each player, combined with learning many of the basic rules of the game. This is a great camp for first time volleyball players! Coached by the BSM coaching staff and varsity players, participants will have a fun-filled week of games, instruction, and skill-building!

The Benilde-St. Margaret’s/Chesterton Academy Wrestling team will be hosting their annual Summer Wrestling Camp August 3 – August 6, 2026! Boys of any/all wrestling experience levels are invited to come for four days of technique instruction from our coaching staff and captains, live wrestling matches with fellow campers, fun games and more! Cheer Team Kids Clinic

Join the BSM Cheerleaders for an action-packed, high energy cheer clinic where every participant becomes part of the spirit squad! This fun-filled experience is perfect for kids who love to move, dance and spread school pride – no experience necessary, just enthusiam!
What the clinic includes – learn real cheers, chants and sideline routines lead by the BSM Cheerleaders. Master a mini dance routine with upbeat, age-appropriate choreography. Create your very own custom cheer bow to take home! Play team-building games, build confidence and make new friends. End the day feeling strong, spiritie dan full of Red Knight pride!

Cardboard Maker Camp: Machines In Motion (NEW)
- Ages: Students entering grades 4-8

Build it. Move it. Play it! Turn cardboard into ball launchers, mini pinball machines, an operation game and motorized carnival swings while learning engineering, circuits, and design thinking. Each day features a hands-on project, that students build from scratch, ending with fun challenges to test, iterate, and compete. High-energy and full of creativity, problem-solving, and the thrill of seeing your inventions come to life!

3D Printing: Design, Build, Race! (NEW)

Start your engines and your imagination! In this hands-on camp, students explore how engineers design and test vehicles using 3D printing. Campers will create two types of cars—a self-powered car (using stored mechanical energy) and a DC motor–powered car—while learning the basics of 3D modeling, motion, energy, and aerodynamics. Using the engineering design process, they’ll test, refine, and improve their creations from concept sketch to final race, putting creativity and problem-solving in the driver’s seat!

Welcome to Cogwarts—the magical school where engineering skills are as powerful as wands! “Cog” represents clever engineering and creative problem-solving, while “warts”…well, the magical mischief is all yours. Campers team up to solve enchanted puzzles, crack secret codes, and build clever contraptions to escape from daily magical scenarios. In the second half of the class, they become the masterminds, designing their own escape rooms filled with tricky engineering challenges for others to solve. On the final day, teams go head-to-head, testing their wits, creativity, and teamwork in the ultimate spellbinding showdown!

Take flight in this hands-on adventure where students explore drones, learn the principles of flight, and tackle exciting missions like package delivery, firefighting, and medical rescues. Campers work in teams of three to design and build their drones, pledging to handle them carefully and responsibly. Step into Cogwarts Academy where creativity, engineering, and magic collide, for a week of hands-on quests inspired by the legendary young wizard! Each day, teams tackle exciting challenges – find your house, make a light-up wand, launch golden orbs, and race through the Gringgolds Vault to complete engineering missions. Teamwork, strategy, and clever design will determine which house claims the Cogwarts Cup at the end of the week!

Think Big, Build Small! Campers will design, engineer, and decorate their own miniature tiny homes while exploring architecture, circuits, and creative construction. From drafting blueprints and wiring real LED lights to crafting custom furniture and interior details, students bring imagination and engineering together to build a one-of-a-kind home to take home!

Young Journalists Newspaper
(for returning Red Knights)

Do your kids love asking questions, noticing details, or telling stories? Then they’re ready to become real reporters! in this high-energy, hands-on Young Journalists Newspaper Camp, students step into the newsroom for a week of investigation, creativity and community storytelling.
Campers will learn how journalists think, write and communicate as they:
- Build their own reporter’s notebook
- learn how to conduct professional email and in-person interviews
- practice unbiased reporting and spotting hidden bias
- write strong leads, pull powerful quotes and craft polished articles
- use digital tools to design and publish a full mini-newspaper by Thursday afternoon!
Each day mixes skill-building mini-lessons with exciting reporting challenges – from interviewing each other or special guests to chasing down “mystery stories” around campus. By the end of the week, every camper will walk away with a printed or digital newspaper they created themselves!

Bring Your Story to Life on Screen!.
Does your child love movies, YouTube, animation or creative storytelling? This high-energy camp turns young creators into filmmakers as they transform a personal narrative into a dynamic multimedia project – complete with images, audio, video clips and voiceovers!
Throughout the week, campers will learn the full storytelling and production process as they:
- craft scripts that are clear, compelling and camera-ready
- learn visual storytelling through hands-on storyboarding
- explore beginner-friendly video and audio editing tools
- build a short multimedia film that blends narration, visuals, and music
- share their final project at our Thursday Mini Film Fesitval
Whether students are natural performers, imaginative writers or tech-loving creators, they’ll leave with new confidence and a polished digital project they can proudly show family & friends!

Freshman Propel Camp gives students an energetic, hands-on jump start at BSM as they learn essential skills for staying organized, managing time, studying effectively, taking notes, and self-advocating. Students will get an inside look at daily life at BSM — including resources, schedules, Mass, convocation, service expectations, lunch routines, and dress code – while also receiving their school computers and learning how to navigate PowerSchool and Schoology.
Key Topics & Activities:
- Introduction to High School Life
Students will learn what to expect at BSM, including key resources, mass, convocations, service, schedules, lunches, and dress code. - Skill Development
Students will practice planning, organization, study techniques, and strategies for self-advocacy and goal setting. - Technology Setup
Students will receive their computers, log into PowerSchool and Schoology, and learn how to stay digitally organized. - Community Building
Students will engage in team-building activities, tour the campus, and participate in prayer sessions in the chapel. - The High School Survival Guide
Students will receive a copy of The High School Survival Guide, focusing on study techniques, balancing academics with social life, building confidence, and managing stress.

Who is the Red Knights Off-Season Training Series for?

Many trainings are open to students in the community (you do not need to attend BSM).*

Summer Sports training may have participation guidelines.
