AP Courses & Exams

Students Looking at Periodic Table

BSM offers 27 Advanced Placement (AP) courses for high school students.

When students take these standardized college-level courses at BSM, they can potentially earn college credit while in high school and accelerate their academic careers.

These courses offer students an additional challenge in their studies, preparing them for the rigors of a college or university education. The extra time and effort required for these course is recognized by colleges when reviewing applications for admission.

AP courses carry a weighted grade of 12.5%. BSM counselors can help students determine what AP courses are a good fit for them. Each AP course has an AP exam which is administered every May.

While the schedule for exams changes every year, students at BSM receive the best possible education from our faculty & staff, teaching them the content and course requirements to do their best and to excel in their academic careers.

The Collegeboard, which administers the exams, posts the exam dates on their website. Each post-secondary institution determines what their individual score requirements on AP exams in order to receive college credit. Contact your BSM counselor with any questions about AP exams.
