March Madness at BSM 

In Minnesota, we count down the days until we finally see green grass and blooming flowers again. Even while winter tries to hang on, BSM is ready to celebrate the start of spring with energy, school spirit, and a little basketball competition!

March Madness Week will take place Monday, March 9 – Friday, March 13, 2026.
Students, faculty, staff, and families are invited to join in the fun!

• Wednesday (March 11) – College Apparel Day
   
• Thursday (March 12) – Jersey Day
   
• Friday (March 13) – Red Knight Spirit Day

⚡ Lightning Basketball Showdown

We're kicking off the week with some serious competition! One girl and one boy from each homeroom will be selected to compete in a Lightning Basketball Tournament in the Great Hall on Monday during homeroom. We’ll have a girls game and boys game, and yes — the winners take home BIG prizes!

🏆 March Madness Bracket Challenge 

Think you know basketball? Prove it! Join the BSM Bracket Challenge and compete for prizes! Students and faculty/staff can submit brackets for the:

• NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament
• NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
• Or both!

The top 5 girls and top 5 boys with the best brackets will win prizes. Instructions for completing your bracket will be emailed soon.
