Guidance Counselor Working with Student

College & School Counseling

Benilde-St. Margaret's offers a comprehensive guidance program that pairs personal and academic counseling with a steady focus on each student's future. From the first day a new Red Knight arrives, a BSM counselor becomes their partner through all of middle and high school.

That partnership lasts all the way to graduation. Along the way, the counseling team provides the academic, social, and emotional support each student needs, working to make every step of the journey a positive and enriching one.

How Our Counselors Support Students

From the first day of middle school to the next chapter after graduation, BSM counselors support students at every stage of their journey.

Academic Planning

Counselors help each student choose the right courses for their abilities and goals, meeting regularly to keep them on track.

Social & Emotional Development

Through one-on-one and small-group support, counselors help students navigate personal challenges and build confidence.

College & Post-Secondary Planning

From building a college list to practicing admission interviews, counselors guide students toward life after BSM.

Career Exploration & Planning

Counselors help students discover their strengths and interests, connecting who they are to the paths ahead.
