The Knightlife Leadership Council is a group of students who have made a decision to live and promote healthy chemical-free lifestyles. Specifically, the Knighlife Leadership Council organizes educational events and activities during the school year that have the purpose of eliminating substance use and abuse. Also, the council is committed to coming up with weekend activities to help students get to know each other and have fun in a chemically-free environment. The council for 2018-2019 has already been chosen, but all BSM students who are interested in attending Knightlife-sponsored fun activities and events during the school year are strongly encouraged to attend. More information about event timing and cost will be published in the daily bulletin and it will also be sent out via email and Facebook throughout the school year. Students who have questions about the Knightlife Leadership Council should talk to Dr. Steffenson or Mr. Roby.

Time Commitment: Knightlife Leadership Council meetings and events happen throughout the year. Our meetings will sometimes be scheduled at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and other times will be scheduled during homeroom time. Knightlife Leadership Council events will usually take place on weekends.

Cost: The cost for Knightlife Leadership Council is $40 for the school year. This price includes a t-shirt and activity fees for fall, winter and spring activities that the group decides to take part in. The $40 fee for the year will be added to a student’s tuition bill if the student turns in a Knightlife Leadership Council contract at the beginning of the school year. If you have questions or if paying this fee presents a financial hardship for your family, please don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Jeff Stefffenson at 952-927-4176, ext. 2444.
