Athletic teams and co-curricular activities, open to every Red Knight.

At Benilde-St. Margaret's, athletics and activities are central to how students grow. Teams compete across three MSHSL seasons, while performing arts, competitive academics, clubs, societies, and more round out a full co-curricular life.

Every program is open to students regardless of skill level, because the aim is broad participation. Red Knights find their place, build lasting friendships, and become confident members of a community that expects their best.

Athletics

Red Knights compete across fall, winter, and spring seasons in MSHSL and club sports, from cross country and hockey to lacrosse and track. Programs are open to students regardless of skill level.

What to Know Before Registering

Complete every registration step before your student's season begins. A few details to keep in mind:

Registration opens by season. When registration for a new season is available, families are notified.
Activities that begin in a given season and carry a participation fee are available for registration in Bound.
Activities without a participation fee are handled directly by the activity's moderator, who shares registration details as the season approaches.

How to Register

Log in to your existing Bound account or create a new one.
Create your family profile, if you have not already.
Add your student or students to your family.
Select your student's sport or activity.
Complete all required forms to finish registration.

The Bound Family Registration Guide walks through each step, and families are encouraged to reference it while registering.

Physical and Medical Forms

As a member school of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL), BSM is required to collect a physical/medical form, including an Annual Health History, for any student participating in a co-curricular activity.

The form must be dated within the last three years, carry a doctor's signature, and state that the student is eligible to participate. Any format your doctor or clinic uses is accepted. A copy of the MSHSL form is available if needed.
Completed forms can be uploaded during registration, faxed to 952-926-5764, or emailed to jkoski@bsmschool.org.
New families and transfer students should note that previous schools do not forward physical/medical forms as part of any records transfer.
Free high school sports physicals are offered by TRIA at tria.com/physicals.
