Red Knight Swimmers Break Records at State

The BSM Boys’ Swim and Dive Team had an excellent section meet March 11 – 13, 2021. According to coach Ryan Miksch, “Every individual swim was a season best time and almost all were lifetime bests!” 

The team as a whole finished fourth out of seven teams in Section 2A. The following Red Knights qualified for the MSHSL State Meet in their respective events: Benjamin Dixon '21, Samuel Haddad '23, Ryan Long '22, Liam Noble '21, Casey Prindiville '21.

The State Meet was held at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center in Minneapolis March 18-20, 2021. The Class A Swimming Finals took place Saturday, March 20 with Red Knights swimming in the second session. More information can be found here.

BSM swimmers had an extremely successful day at State with each Red Knight swimming their best times of the season. The team earned 6th place, and four school records were broken (indicated in red):

200 Medley Relay:
Liam Noble, Samuel Haddad, Ryan Long, Casey Prindiville - 1:39.47 - 7th Place
 
200 Free:
Casey Prindiville - 9th Place
 
50 Free:
Liam Noble - 20.98 - 3rd Place
Ryan Long ‘22 - 9th Place
 
100 Free:
Ryan Long - 13th Place
 
500 Free:
Casey Prindiville - 9th Place
 
200 Free Relay:
Liam Noble, Samuel Haddad, Casey Prindiville, Ryan Long - 1:28.49 - 5th Place
 
100 Back:
Liam Noble - 53.30 - 6th Place
