BSM Students Named Scholastic Art & Award Winners

Congratulations to our Red Knight 2019 Minnesota Scholastic Art & Writing Award Winners! Winners include, Yingying Lv, John Landry, Gabriella Schmidt, Alicia Frip and Alice Petty winning a Silver Key for their work. Honorable Mention award winners include, Trevor Metz, John Landry, Ian Wong, Claire Lorimor and Amelia Backes with two Honorable Mention awards! Last, we had two gold winners Winton Petty and Gabriella Schmidt!

Another congratulations to Alana Kabaka ('21), on her Silver Key award for her each of the three poems she submitted to the Scholastic Minnesota Writing Awards! Silver Keys are awarded to stand-out works that demonstrate exceptional ability.

Art Exhibitions:

Gold Key and American Visions Award artworks will be on display at the Regis Center for the Arts West Gallery, February 5 - 23, 2019.

Silver Key artworks will be displayed in a slide presentation on gallery monitors during the exhibition. 

Gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

You can see the show in its entirety 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the Awards Ceremony day, Saturday, February 23, 2019.
