BSM Names 2019-20 Board of Directors
Benilde-St. Margaret’s School has named the Board of Directors for the 2019-20 school year. Officers include Jim Vogl (chair), Shay Wyley (past chair), Dr. Adam Ehrmantraut (president), Fran McCloskey (treasurer), and John Vonhof (secretary).
In addition, the board announces the appointments of three new directors, Br. Chris Englert FSC, Shane Huether and Charles Scott.
Brother Chris Englert, FSC a resident of Illinois, represents the Christian Brothers on the board. Most recently, Br. Chris served as President of Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, Tennessee. He has also served on numerous boards and committees including CBU and Madonna Learning Center. Brother Chris will serve as Auxiliary Visitor from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2023.
Shane Huether, a resident of Minnetonka, is a Chartered Financial Analyst with CarVal Investors, a subsidiary of Cargill and a leading alternative investment fund manager. He currently serves on the Board’s Investment Committee. Mr. Huether and his wife Kris are the parents of BSM alum, Elizabeth ’15, and current student, Elliot ’23, and are members of Pax Christi Church in Eden Prairie.
Charles Scott, a resident of Medina, is a Regional Business Manager at Covalon Technologies, LTD, a medical products company. He currently serves on the Board’s Strategic Planning Committee and participates in the Affinity Group. Mr. Scott and his wife Phillippa are the parents of two daughters including current student, Shelby ’22, and are members of St. Bartholomew Church in Wayzata.
We welcome these new directors as we thank departing board members, Meghan DesLauriers (BSM ’99), and Penny Meier – for their many years of faithful service. The new directors began their three-year terms on July 1, 2019.
