BSM Girls' Soccer Places 3rd at State!

In 13 years, the BSM girls' soccer team have won nine conference and section championships. They also have made an appearance in the state tournament nine times - this season they have done it again! 

Congratulations to the BSM girls' soccer team as they took home the Section 5A title, defeating the Blake Bears 2-1 at Osseo High School on October 18! Amanda Cassidy - Ms. Soccer Finalist - made both goals in the second half to ensure their ticket to the Minnesota State High School State Tournament. 

Tournament seeds have yet to be chosen, but we will update this announcement once the tournament information has been posted.

UPDATE: October 22

The BSM girls' soccer team received the number 3 seed in the 2018 State Girls Soccer Tournament-Class A. The Red Knights will play their first game on Wednesday, October 24, 5:30 p.m. at Prior Lake High School vs. Rochester Lourdes. Good luck ladies!

Update: October 25

The Red Knights defeated Rochester Lourdes in their first game of the state tournament 3-0! Goals were scored by Elizabeth Dietzen assisted by Amanda Cassidy and then Cassidy scored with an assist from Dietzen. The third goal was scored by Dani Gonyea on a penalty kick. The ladies will head to U.S. Bank Stadium Tuesday, October 30 to play the #2 seed, Orono High School at 2 p.m. Let's keep it going ladies! 

We will have an early dismissal that day so that students, faculty and staff may attend the game. Students will have a modified schedule, with a lunch period and then school will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. Fan buses to the girls’ game will leave at 1 p.m. from BSM. Students wishing to ride the fan bus to the game must register online hereREGISTRATION WILL END Monday, October 29 at noon.

Update: October 31

Congratulations to the girls' soccer team on taking home the 3rd place title in the state Class A tournament. The Red Knights played Holy Angels on Wednesday, October 31, ending the game in a tie 0-0. The ladies had an overall winning season and fought hard until the end, congrats Red Knights!
