BSM 7th Graders Engage in Revolutionary War History Lesson in Boston
The weekend of May 11, 2019, 25 BSM seventh graders engaged in a real-life history lesson in Boston as they toured historical sites of the Revolutionary War! During their visit, students stopped by the Boston Tea Party Museum where they threw "tea" into the harbor. They also visited The Freedom Trail, touring Bunker Hill, Paul Revere’s House, Old North Church, Old South Meeting House and the Boston Commons.
From there, they traveled to Fenway Park, Harvard University where they studied in the Harvard Courtyard, Lexington & Concord and ate at "Cheers" restaurant. We'd like to give a special thanks to Junior High Social Studies Teacher Adam George for leading this effort.
What a fantastic learning and travel opportunity for our students!
