Benilde-St. Margaret’s Welcomes BSM Graduate Lisa Hendrickson Shaughnessy as Chief Advancement Officer
Benilde-St. Margaret’s is pleased to welcome back BSM alumna Lisa Hendrickson Shaughnessy to the Red Knight community as the school’s new chief advancement officer.
Lisa is a proven leader whose 30-year career has focused on advancement, program development and management, communications and volunteer coordination for non-profits, Fortune 500 companies and educational institutions.
For ten years, Lisa served as director of advancement for Convent of the Visitation School, overseeing Development, Enrollment and Communications. While at Visitation, Lisa reimagined the school’s development strategy for major capital campaigns, endowment growth and the Annual Fund, leading to significant increases in all giving areas.
Over the course of her career, Lisa has led several multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns and has a proven track record of leading teams to success.
“Lisa brings great professional depth, leadership and talent to Benilde-St. Margaret’s, with a highly relational style. Lisa also has a strong passion for our mission and the important work we do as an institution. We look forward to welcoming her back to the hallways of BSM,” said BSM President Adam Ehrmantraut, Ed.D.
Lisa has also worked as an advancement consultant serving several nonprofits throughout North America.
She says she is excited to be able to ride her bike to work, just as she did when she attended school at BSM.
