Tuition & Tuition Assistance
Tuition at BSM is billed annually, semi-annually, or on a 10-month basis (if paying with this option, payments must be in the form of an electronic funds transfer). The registration fee is due upon course registration, as is the enrollment contract. We do not have an application or book fee.
Tuition Assistance
Benilde-St. Margaret’s provides tuition assistance to families with students who have demonstrated financial need. Approximately 16% of the student body currently receives assistance. More than $1.9 million in assistance was awarded for the 2021-2022 school year, with an average award of $9,000.
All tuition assistance applicants must complete a Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) application. TADS is used by most Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to determine a family's tuition needs. TADS applications can be filled out online or can be printed and mailed to you from TADS. Completing your TADS application online will expedite the process. The priority application deadline for TADS was February 15, 2023 and applications are now being reviewed on a rolling basis.
Complete your tads application
Submitting TADS applications after the deadline may affect a student’s financial award, as we have limited funding. Funding cannot be allocated to TADS applicants unless the student has been granted admission to Benilde-St. Margaret's. TADS may be filed prior to the admission decision, but notification of potential tuition assistance qualification will not be sent until after a student is admitted.
You may contact TADS for assistance completing the application or to check your application status. TADS does not have award information.
Available Tuition Discount
Benilde-St. Margaret's is pleased to offer a 10% discount on tuition for students whose parents are employed by schools, parishes, and other institutions of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. To confirm your eligibility and for more information, please contact Shané Sisco, Student Tuition and Financial Aid Specialist, 952-767-3121 or ssisco@bsmschool.org.
Annual Co-Curricular Fees
We believe that providing a wide range of high caliber co-curricular opportunities in athletics and activities is an important aspect of the premier educational experience at BSM. Over the past several years, the cost of providing these co-curriculars has continued to steadily– and significantly– increase. Additionally, a review of peer Catholic schools in the area confirmed this to be a common practice. The addition of these fees will allow us to continue providing first-in-class co-curricular opportunities in a way that is fiscally responsible for the school.
