BSM provides your student with the academics, athletics, and activities that you would have in a large public school, and our small school community offers support, flexibility and momentum to go beyond the ordinary in new ways.

Your child will spend their day with BSM students from other grades, sharing experiences and moments to bond, while learning from older role models who pass along the virtues and values of what it means to be a Red Knight. 

Success is measured in many ways at BSM and it ultimately leads to your son or daughter receiving their diploma, prepared for life after high school. Benilde-St. Margaret is laser-focused on providing a holistic educational experience where your child will receive knowledge, opportunities to ask questions, and time to explore ideas and discover their passions.

Being part of the BSM community means your child’s education takes place with like-minded individuals - Red Knights who want to understand concepts in class, why those concepts are important, and most importantly, how to apply ideas and concepts in real life situations. 

Your student's future begins at BSM with a hands-on curriculum, taught by innovative faculty, so your child is ready for the rigors of colleges and universities around the globe or right here in the Twin Cities. Our guidance counselors partner with our faculty and staff, and you, affording each student opportunities to engage in dialogue, be challenged, and work through difficult concepts. 

At the end of your son or daughter’s high school career at BSM, you’ll both see how hard work and effort leads to meaningful growth as a person. Our Portrait of a Red Knight provides the blueprint of who your child will be at graduation.

Students have the opportunity to get involved with affinity groups designed to build community among students of color and different backgrounds, providing a welcoming place at BSM for honest dialogue and academic, social, and emotional support. These groups meet weekly throughout the school year.
