Tuition & Affordability
Welcome Prospective Red Knight Families!
BSM is committed to making a Red Knight education an affordable experience for every family. We believe an investment in your student's learning today will pay dividends for them in the future.
Tuition Assistance
Benilde-St. Margaret’s provides tuition assistance to families with students who have demonstrated financial need. Approximately 17% of the student body currently receives assistance. More than $1.9 million in assistance was awarded for the 2024-2025 school year, with an average award of $9,400.
All tuition assistance applicants must complete a Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) application. TADS is used by most Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to determine a family's tuition needs. TADS applications can be filled out online or can be printed and mailed to you from TADS. Completing your TADS application online will expedite the process. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis upon receipt and availability of tuition assistance funds.
Complete your tads application
For planning purposes, please note that Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 is the early action deadline for the 2025-2026 school year. Tuition assistance applications received after the Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 early action deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis. You may contact TADS for assistance completing the application or to check your application status. TADS does not have award information.
Merit-Based Scholarships & Tuition Discounts
BSM awards both merit-based scholarships and tuition discounts for qualifying students and their families. Consideration for a merit-based award is not tied to completion of a TADS application, but awards can be made in conjunction with a tuition assistance (TADS) award. More information about these opportunities can be found below.
