Summer Courses

BSM is pleased to offer a variety of summer courses for students. Enrolling in a summer course is a great way for students to work toward graduation requirements, learn alongside peers, and enrich their minds during summer break. Please choose from the following options, and contact me if you have any questions.

  • Propel
    This 3-day class will provide incoming freshmen with opportunities to develop their organizational and time management skills. No credit

Dates of course: Monday, August 7 - Wednesday, August 9
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Frequency: Students will meet in person each day
Location: BSM Campus

  • Health in the Summer
    This 5-week hybrid course fulfills the health class graduation requirement. 

Dates of course: Monday, June 12 - Thursday, July 20
Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Frequency: Mondays (in-person), Tuesdays - Thursdays (online) 
(There is no class during the week of July 3 - July 6).
Location: BSM Campus

  • Engineering (Levels 1-3)
    This 4-week class is open to BSM students who are currently finishing 9th, 10th, or 11th grades. Three programs will be offered, varying by experience level:
    • Engineering 1: Any current 9th - 11th grade student can register without previous experience.
    • Engineering 2: Students in grades 9 - 11 who have completed Engineering 1 course(s) can register.
    • Engineering 3: Students should speak with Mr. Nepomuceno for approval before registering.

Dates of course: Monday, June 19 - Friday, July 28
(There is no class from July 3-14 for the BSM high school students to participate in RoboCup)
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Mondays through Thursdays), Friday as assigned
Frequency: Monday through Thursdays, and Friday for 1:1 prep
Location: BSM Campus

  • BSM Band Lessons
    This 3-day class will provide incoming freshmen with opportunities to develop their organizational and time management skills. No credit
    • Ages:   Students entering grades 7-12
    • Dates:   TBD
    • Time:   Five -  1/2 hour lessons
    • Cost:     $100

Description: The BSM band department is offering half hour lessons throughout the summer for students looking to further their musical skills. The focus will be on improving musicality and technique at a level that is tailored to each students ability level.
