Principal's Welcome

It is my honor to welcome you to the senior high at Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Our school has a legacy and tradition of excellence which we uphold each day in all aspects of the BSM community. 

Today’s BSM is a college-prep environment second to none in the Twin Cities. Our team of teachers and staff innovate in and outside the classroom to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential. We meet each student where they are in life and help them grow and be successful wherever they want to go in the future.

This is possible by getting to know each student and creating meaningful connections. As a Catholic school, it also means understanding and applying the charisms of our faith so that how we teach and treat each other is grounded in compassion and integrity in a caring community.

Our team nurtures a positive school culture by maximizing every available resource to ensure the success of each student’s learning and experience while at BSM. We have a shared and clear mission to educate, empower, and inspire every student so they can contribute meaningfully to an ever-changing global society.

We have high expectations for each student, and we also hold every member of our team to those same high expectations to do their best in supporting the educational initiatives for your student, so they are known, loved, and respected here at BSM.

At Benilde-St. Margaret’s, we encourage our parents and community to be active and participate in events throughout the school year. This allows students to see the tangible investment parents make in all aspects of the education of their children, while also creating moments for parents to connect while supporting one another in our shared efforts to train up the next generation of leaders.
