Junior High Orientation: Monday, August 29, 2016
For ALL 7th graders and NEW 8th graders
New Student Orientation hours are 8:00-11:45 a.m., (through lunch). Lunch may be purchased from the cafeteria or brought from home. Students should wear comfortable clothing and enter at the Haben Center (west end of parking lot). School supplies may be brought to school on this day or on the first day of school.
There will be a junior high new parent orientation session (optional), from 8-9:00 a.m. in the theater.
Freshman Orientation: Monday, August 29, 2016
The first day of school for all freshmen is Monday, August 29. The day begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 2:40 p.m. Orientation begins in the Great Hall, students are asked to wait in the Main Lobby until 8:00am.
It is recommended that students wear comfortable clothing that follows the dress code. You may purchase lunch at school or bring a bag lunch. There is no need to bring any school materials.
The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one. Seniors and juniors will serve as leaders and mentors to the freshmen during the activities on orientation day as well as throughout the school year.
