Lizzie's Experience

Lizzie Ambre '17

Lizzie has a long list of experiences that she says makes BSM so special, including a 2016 state soccer championship. Being a part of this team gave her a real sense of what the BSM community is all about. Her favorite part was getting to play at US Bank stadium. “It felt like every single BSM student was there cheering us on. I am lucky to be a part of a school community where everyone is supported doing what they love to do.”

Being part of the BSM community has encouraged Lizzie to surround herself with interesting and different people who help her learn and grow. “I’m happy to have had teachers who motivated me to reach further than I thought I was able. I have been so impressed by the character of all the students at BSM. But most importantly, I value the relationships with teachers, coaches and counselors who truly care about us.”

Although Lizzie has created many fond memories playing soccer, her favorite activity is writing for the student newspaper, the Knight Errant. Additionally, Lizzie is a member of the National Honor Society, Intramural Basketball Association and works at Left Foot coaching soccer.

Lizzie’s favorite BSM tradition? The Christmas Mass. Lizzie feels “it is a tradition that celebrates our faith in a fun and festive environment. All the Masses are special for our school. They are times we can come together and really feel the community aspect that makes being a Red Knight so special.”
