Both soccer teams advance to state semi-finals

October 19, 2011

Both BSM boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams will be playing in the state semi-final round on Monday, October 31, at the Metrodome.

In the quarter-finals, the boys defeated Cloquet, 2-1; the girls had a 3-1 win over South St. Paul.

On Monday, don your red attire and come help us cheer the number-two ranked boys on to victory over St. Paul Academy and Summit School (#3), beginning at 8 a.m. Return with your second wind for the 2:00 game, when our number-one ranked girls will face Totino-Grace.

For students, school will only be in session from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday. The cafeteria will not only be closed for lunches, but will be closed all day. Please check your e-mail for more information.

With Monday wins, each BSM team would advance to a state championship game on Thursday, November 3, at the dome. The boys would play at 10 a.m., and the girls immediately afterward, at 12:30 p.m.

Keep up with all of the Red Knight soccer action in any of several ways.
