New Board of Directors members and officers announced

Cary Musech, chair of the BSM Board of Directors, has announced the appointments of new officers and board members. The new board members who will serve three-year terms are Archie C. Black, John Graves, Sheila Letscher, and Claudia Sefton.

Recently elected members of the Board of Directors:

Archie C. Black, a resident of Golden Valley, is the Chief Executive Officer of SPS Commerce, a Minneapolis-based, international provider of on-demand supply chain management solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Marquette University. Mr. Black is married to Jane McDonald Black. They are the parents of one alumnus, Patrick  ’10, two current BSM students, Alexander ’13, and Michael ’15, and son Ian. They are members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Golden Valley.
 
John Graves, a resident of Excelsior, is Chairman and Founder of Convey Compliance Systems, a Minnesota-based, national provider of tax reporting services. Mr. Graves received a degree in math and economics from St. Cloud State University. Mr. Graves is married to Denise Graves, and they are members of St. Therese Catholic Church, Deephaven. They have three sons who are BSM alumni: John ’08, Joseph ’03, and William ’02.

Sheila Letscher, a resident of St. Louis Park, is active as a volunteer in Catholic education, serving the Our Lady of Grace School community as well as the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. She obtained a degree from the Harvard Law School. She has experience in private practice and in-house corporate law. Ms. Letscher is married to Tom Letscher. They have two children attending BSM: Daniel ’13 and Samantha ’14. They are members of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Edina, and have two children enrolled at Our Lady of Grace School.

Claudia Sefton, a resident of Minneapolis, is active in her community, working for and supporting several Twin Cities-area civic and charitable causes. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in operations management from Michigan State University and worked in production control for Eaton Corporation, an international, diversified power management company. Ms. Sefton is married to Stephen Sefton. They are members of the Basilica of Saint Mary, Minneapolis. The Seftons have three children, all BSM alumni: Brian ‘03, Maureen ‘04, and Kate ‘07.


Recently elected officers to the Board of Directors:

The new officers are Rodney Jordan, chair; Terri Naughtin, secretary; and, Tom Hansen, treasurer. The new officers and board members will take their positions on July 1, 2011.

Rodney W. Jordan, Chair, a resident of Plymouth, is the General Counsel, Secretary and Human Resource V.P. at the TLC Companies, a Brooklyn Center-based provider of human resources outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. He holds a Juris Doctor and a Baccalaureate degree from Cornell University. He
is a director of the Guthrie Theater and a Director/Trustee of the Northwest Area Foundation. Mr. Jordan is married to Laura Anne Jordan. They are the parents of current BSM students, Samuel ‘11, and Benjamin ’13, and an incoming BSM student, Rachel. They are members of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community, Medina.

Tom Hansen, Treasurer, a resident of Eden Prairie, is a retired banking executive. He is married to Joyce; and, they are the parents of two BSM alumni, Alexander '06 and Nathan '09, and one future BSM student, Kathryn '19. The Hansens are members of Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina.

Terri Naughtin, Secretary, a resident of Plymouth, is the Managing Director for Nosal Partners Minneapolis office, a midsized global executive leadership solutions firm, headquartered in San Francisco.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Naughtin is married to Jeff.  They are the parents of one alumnus, David ’09, and two current BSM students, Jack ’12, and Michael ’15. The Naughtins are members of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Wayzata.
