The BSM Board of Directors is happy to announce the appointment of Adam Ehrmantraut as President of Benilde-St. Margaret's School effective February 1, 2017. Following an extensive national search, conducted by CohenTaylor Executive Search Services and overseen by our dedicated search committee, Ehrmantraut emerged as our top choice to lead Benilde-St. Margaret's through BSM’s 2020 strategic plan and beyond.

Ehrmantraut is excited to assume his new role as President of Benilde-St. Margaret's School. As he expressed, “In essence, ever since I began working at Benilde-St. Margaret's in 1999, BSM has always been a part of me. I am eager to embrace this and return to lead such a distinctive school and community. I am committed to the vision of BSM’s 2020 strategic plan of developing each student’s fullest potential in body, spirit and mind.”

In fact, Ehrmantraut began his teaching career in the late 1990's here at Benilde St. Margaret's as a social studies and business teacher. He was also the adviser for Youth in Government and was a coach for boys' hockey.

In 2006, Ehrmantraut became an assistant principal at Minnetonka High School and six years later became the principal at Tartan High School in Oakdale, MN. His leadership in schools has focused on technology integration, leadership development, strategic planning, program development, instructional design and organizational change. In 2015, he was recognized as one of the Minnesota Principals of the Year based on the progress at Tartan High School.

Most recently, Ehrmantraut has been the founder and CEO of Educators Link, an independent education search and consulting business. In addition, for several years, he has served on the Board of Directors of Dodge Nature Center and on the Development Committee at Visitation School.
