Notes

The Red Knights opened the season with a 2-1 win over Breck ranked second in class 2A. Sedona Brown scored the first goal of the season putting the Red Knights up by one. Breck tied the score before the end of the first period and it remained that way until Megan Cornell scored the game winner with a little over two minutes left in the game. Paige Greeley was the number one star of the game stopping 39 of 40 shots. The Red Knights are home Thursday, November 17 against St. Paul Academy.
St. Paul United 2-6 L

Notes

The Red Knights lost to St. Paul United 6-2. BSM gave up four unanswered goals to start the game and was never able to recover. Goals by Sedona Brown, her second of the year and Nicole Sims, her first varsity goal provided the Red Knight's offense. BSM is away for a 2:30 game Saturday against Wayzata.
Wayzata 1-4 L

Notes

The Red Knights lost to Wayzata 4-1. BSM was down 3-0 after the first period then played Wayzata to a one all tie the remaining two periods. Grace Peluso had the lone Red Knight goal. BSM is 1-2 for the season and is home against Hopkins Tuesday, November 22
Hopkins Park 1-3 L

Notes

BSM lost to Hopkins/Park 3-1 and are now 1-3 for the season. Aspen Konowalchuck had her first varsity goal and the lone Red Knight goal. BSM plays North Wright County River Hawks 2:00 PM, Friday, November 25 at the Richfield Ice Arena.
North Wright County River Hawks 3-6 L

Notes

The Red Knights jumped out to a 3-1 first period lead but were unable hold on and lost to North Wright County 6-3 in the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Holy Angles. Mandy Nylander, Grace Peluso and Megan Cornell provided the scoring for the Red Knights. BSM is now 1-4 and play Holy Angels Saturday, November 26, 12:00 at the Richfield Ice Arena.

Holy Angels 6-2 W

Notes

BSM placed third in the Thanksgiving Holy Angels tournament defeating Holy Angels 6-2. The Red Knights jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first period on goals by Megan Truman, Maria DeCesare and two by Mandy Nylander. Aspen Konowalchuck had the lone goal in the second period. Holy Angels scored two third period goals before Sally Calengor scored the final goal of the game, her first varsity goal. The Red Knights do not play again until they travel to Duluth December 9th for a game Friday against Duluth and then Cloquet on Saturday.

Notes

The Red Knights posted their third win of the year with a 4-1 win over the Duluth Northern Stars. Mandy Nylander, Maria DeCesare, Megan Truman and Grace Peluso scored for BSM. The Red Knights are now 3-4 for the season.
C-E-C Lumberjacks 3-3 T / OT

Notes

BSM played a strong game in a 3-3 tie with Cloquet. Maria DeCesare had a hat trick for the Red Knights. Her third goal, a short handed goal, came with just over four minutes left in regulation time.
Mounds View 4-5 L / OT

Notes

The Red Knights suffered a tough loss to the Mounds View Mustangs 5-4 in overtime. BSM was up 3-0 early in the second period on goals from Maria DeCesare, Megan Truman, and Kate Hancuch, her first varsity goal. Mounds View followed with two goals to pull within one at the end of the second period. The Mustangs scored the first two goals of the third period to take a one goal lead. Grace Peluso tied the score late in the third period to put the game in overtime. Mounds View scored early in overtime to claim the win. BSM is now 3-5-1 for the season and will play Eden Prairie at home Thursday, December 15.

Notes

The Red Knights lost a hard fought battle to the defending State Champs Eden Prairie 5-2. BSM got goals from Maria DeCesare, her team leading 7th goal of the year and Grace Juckiness, her first varsity goal. The Red Knights travel to Maple Grove for a game Tuesday December 20.

Notes

he Red Knights defeated Duluth Marshall 6-2. BSM jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead on goals by Maria DeCesare, Aspen Konowalchuck, and Grace Juckiness. Duluth came back scoring 2 second period goals but was answered by Kensie Malone, her first varsity goal, and the Red Knights took a 4-2 lead into the third period. BSM picked up two third period goals by, Maria DeCesare, her team leading 9th goal of the year and Grace Peluso a short handed goal. Rose Beeman was in goal and recorded her first varsity win. The Red Knights are now 4-7-1 and will play Wayzata Tuesday, December 27 in the Eden Prairie Tournament.

The Red Knights defeated 12th ranked Wayzata 2-1 in the first round of the Eden Prairie Mid-Winter Melt Down Tournament. Maria DeCesare and Sally Calengor scored two second period goals to lead BSM to the win. The Red Knights face Minnetonka in the second round of the tournament..

The Red Knights lost to Blake 5-1, the lone BSM goal was scored by Megan Cornell. The Red Knights are away Tuesday January 10 against Minneapolis Coop.
Minneapolis 4-1 W

Notes

The Red Knights picked up their sixth win of the year with a 4-1 win over Mnneapolis. Grace Juckiness opened the scoring early in the second period to give the Red Knights the lead. Kensie Malone followed with her first of two goals. Maggie Sexton rounded out the scoring with her first varsity goal. BSM opens conference play at home Saturday against Holy Angels.

Notes

BSM lost to the Holy Angels Stars 2-1. The Stars scored two second period goals and took a two goal lead into the third period. BSM pressured the third period but Mandy Nylander was the only player to score for the Red Knights. BSM is away Thursday, January 19 against Chaska-Chan.

Notes

Mandy Nylander and Kensie Malone scored the two Red Knight goals in a 7-2 loss to Chaska-Chan. BSM is 6-12-1 for the season and are away January 26 against Bloomington-Jefferson.
Bloomington Jefferson (co-op) 3-4 L / OT

Notes

The Red Knights lost a hard fought game 4-3 in overtime to Bloomington Jefferson. Jefferson had a two goal lead six minutes into the third period before Maggie Sexton, Sedona Brown and Aspen Konowalchuck scored to put the Red Knights in front. Jefferson tied the score with just under five minutes to play and scored the winning goal late in overtime. BSM is home Saturday, January 28 against Chaska-Chan.
Chaska/Chanhassen Storm Hawks 3-5 L

Notes

The Red Knights lost a hard fought battle 5-3 to Chaska Chan. The teams were tied 2-2 after two periods on BSM goals by Megan Cornell and Grace Peluso. Kensie Malone gave the Red Knights a one goal lead in the third period but BSM was not able to hold on as Chaska scored twice to secure the victory. Carly Greene was strong in goal stopping 42 of the 47 shots she faced. BSM is home Tuesday, January 31 against Bloomington Jefferson.

Notes

The Red Knights picked up their 7th win of the year defeating Bloomington Jefferson 3-2. Nicole Sims, Megan Cornell and Aspen Konowalchuk scored for the Red Knights. Carly Greene recorded her first varsity win. BSM will face Holy Angels away Thursday, February 2 for their final conference game.

Notes

BSM tied Holy Angels 1-1 in their final conference game and finished conference play 1-4-1. Nicole Sims had the lone Red Knight goal. BSM travels to Hill Murray Saturday, February 4 for the final game of the regular season.
Hill-Murray 1-7 L

Notes

The Red Knights lost their final regular season game 7-1 to Hill Murray. Grace Peluso had the lone Red Knight goal. BSM finished the season 7-16 2. The Red Knights will play the first round of play offs in Section 6AA, Saturday February 11.
Wayzata 2-3 L / OT

Notes

The Red Knights lost the first round of Section 6AA playoffs 3-2 in overtime to Wayzata. Maria DeCesare gave BSM the lead at 10:46 of the first period. Wayzata tied the score late in the period and the teams went into the first intermission tied. Wayzata had the lone second period goal and took a one goal lead into the third period. Grace Juckiness tied the score midway through the third period which forced the game into overtime. The Red Knights came out in overtime and had several golden scoring opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net. Wayzata scored the winner at 2:24 of overtime. Eighth grader Carly Greene had an outstanding game in goal stopping 28 of the 31 shots she faced.
