Greg Hoemke
Varsity Head Coach

Greg Hoemke enters his fourth season as the Red Knights’ head coach, having led BSM to North Suburban Conference titles in two of his first three seasons.

Hoemke took over the reigns of the BSM program in 2008, following five seasons as the Red Knights’ assistant coach.

A junior high English teacher at BSM, Hoemke also is a member of the Red Knight football staff, working with the Junior High program.

Hoemke came to BSM from St. Agnes, where he spent six seasons as the assistant baseball coach in addition to serving as an assistant football coach during his tenure there. He also served as the school’s B-squad softball coach in 1984 and as an assistant baseball coach in 1985 while attending the University of Minnesota.

A 1983 graduate of St. Agnes, Hoemke earned his bachelor’s degree from Minnesota in 1986.

He and his wife, Jane, have two children; Rachel, 19, a 2010 BSM graduate; and Marshall, 14, who is a member of the Red Knights’ freshman team.
