International Applicants

Benilde-St. Margaret’s School (BSM) welcomes international students. This year, 15 students from Brazil, China, France, Japan, Mexico, Rwanda, and South Korea are part of our community. • BSM welcomes international students who come to us through a program with a representative in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area. We prefer working with Nacel Open Door.

• We want your transition from home to the BSM community to be as complete and smooth as possible. That’s why all of our international students begin their experience in August, the start of our academic year.
 
• Take a look at our Admissions Policy. All international students receiving academic credit will be admitted based on their transcripts and SLEP test scores (minimum score requirement is 50), as well as other standards stated in the Admissions Policy.
 
• Be sure to review our information about tuition at BSM. At this time, we do not have a tuition assistance program for International students.

• Work with your program representatives to find a host family in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. BSM is not responsible for finding host families for international students; but, we will post information on our website to assist you and your program representatives in finding host families.
