 Tuition, Tuition Assistance, and Scholarships

There is a gap between the cost of educating a student and the price of tuition.  We make up the difference with a variety of fundraising activities and raise nearly $1 million for our Annual Fund.  The Annual Fund supplements BSM's budget, and all parents are asked to support this important yearly initiative.

Tuition is billed annually, semi-annually, or on a 10-month basis (if paying with this option, payments must be in the form of an electronic funds transfer). The registration fee is due upon course registration, as is the enrollment contract.

We do not have an application or book fee.

Tuition for 2017-2018

  • Junior High: $12,340
  • Senior High: $14,395
  • International Students: $19,395

Fees for 2017-2018

  • Technology Fee: $400
  • Registration Fee: $200
  • Graduation Fee: $150 (applied only to 2018 graduating seniors)

Tuition Assistance

As of our priority deadline of February 15, 2017, we are continuing to review and award tuition assistance on a case by case basis. Please contact the Admissions office with additional questions.

In an effort to secure and maintain an economically diverse student population, the BSM Board of Directors has established a tuition assistance program, allowing students the opportunity to attend BSM through tuition assistance grants. Roughly 19% of the student body currently receives assistance. More than $1.4 million in assistance was awarded for the 2015-2016 school year, with the average award being $6,345.

All tuition assistance applicants must complete a Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) application. TADS is the company used by all Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to determine a family's tuition need. TADS applications can be filled online or can be printed and mailed to you from TADS. Completing your TADS application online will expedite the process.

Submitting TADS applications after the deadline may affect a student’s financial award, as we have limited funding. Funding cannot be allocated to TADS applicants, unless the student has been granted admission to Benilde-St. Margaret's. TADS may be filed prior to the admission decision, but notification of potential tuition assistance qualification will not be sent until after a student is admitted.

For general information on the BSM tuition assistance program, please contact Shané Sisco, Student Tuition and Financial Aid Specialist, at 952-927-4176, ext. 2482 or email. You may contact TADS for assistance completing the application or to check application status. TADS does not have award information.
