Tuition, Tuition Assistance & Scholarships
There is a gap between the cost of educating a student and the price of tuition. We make up the difference with a variety of fundraising activities and raise nearly $1 million in our Annual Fund program. The Annual Fund supplements BSM's budget, and all parents are asked to support this important yearly initiative.
Tuition is billed annually, semi-annually, or on a 10-month basis. Monthly payments must be in the form of an electronic funds transfer. The registration fee is due upon course registration. There is no application or book fee.
In an effort to secure and maintain an economically diverse student population, the BSM Board of Directors has established a Grants and Awards Program, allowing students the opportunity to attend BSM through tuition assistance grants. More than 17% of the student body currently receives assistance. Over 1.2 million in assistance was awarded for the 2011-2012 school year, with the average award being $6,700.
Tuition Assistance Grants
All tuition assistance applicants must complete a Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) application. TADS is the company used by all Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese to disburse funds. TADS applications can be filled out at TADS.com or can be mailed to you from the BSM Admissions Office. Completing your TADS application online will expedite the process. Please note that both parents are required to complete the TADS application if divorced and both financially contributing to the child's education.
Submitting TADS applications after the deadline (January 31) may affect a student’s financial award.
Tuition assistance workshops will be conducted during the school's open house on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. For general information on the BSM tuition assistance program, please contact the BSM Admissions Office at 952-915-4345 or admissions@BSMschool.org. You may contact TADS for assistance completing the application or to check application status. TADS does not have award information.
