Math League--Sr. High
The BSM Math League is open to all students in grades 9-12. Our goal is to have fun while solving challenging and interesting math problems.
Do you actually enjoy your math class?
Do you think it is fun to figure out a tricky problem?
If so, then MATH LEAGUE IS FOR YOU!!!
**IMPORTANT NOTE**
Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams: The Minnesota State High School Math League rules state that each school can only be represented by one team of eight students. The varsity team’s scores will count towards BSM’s team score while JV’s scores (along with the non-varsity and non-JV team members) will not. The idea behind the JV team is to look for potential varsity team members for the remainder of the season as well as for the following year. The captains (with the coach’s approval) will make the final decision of who will do what at each meet. Please remember that Benilde-St. Margaret's has a very large math team. The goal is to place our highest scoring students on varsity and second-highest scoring students on JV.
Practices will be every Wednesday morning before school, and begin Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 7:15 a.m., always in the Campus Ministry room.
