Advanced Competitive Science

What is Advanced Competitive Science?

ACS is an engineering technology concepts program working to establish a benchmark for exercising the problem solving centers of the brain and strengthening the ability of students to engage in original/inventive thought. By providing an environment where students participate in open-ended projects and have opportunity for exploration, experimentation and discovery; ACS challenges students to go beyond recitation and seek out innovative solutions. By immersing students into the engineering design process, ACS amplifies vested student learning and accelerates student ability to absorb complex ideas.

We at ACS are convinced of the value engineering technology programs bring to schools and we are committed to making engineering technology programs accessible to others. As we continue to develop our program, we are working to meet the challenge of making ACS transferable/scalable. Please feel free to explore our Web site, and if you see that an ACS type program would be a benefit in your institution, we are always available to share.
